PR Senior Account Executive / Account Manager – Travel PR
London SW18 / Kingston KT2 – Hybrid Remote (usually one day in the office per week)

£26,000 – £32,000 a year (depending on experience) – Full-time

What are we after?
After winning more clients, we’re after a PR Senior Account Executive or Account Manager to join our friendly UK team. We’re looking for a team player who has had at least one year’s experience in travel PR (or similar) so you can hit the ground running and start work with a range of clients. Experience of media relations, pitching, writing press releases, and social media is key – along with a love of travel, an ability to look outside the box, and a great sense of humour. And if you can ski or snowboard, and/or speak another language (French / Spanish / Japanese) even better…

What will you do?
As a Senior Account Executive / Account Manager you will work closely with the small team and manage a number of clients to help promote them to key media (in print, online, and content creators). You’ll liaise directly with our clients (ranging from tourist boards, tour operators, ski companies and accommodation providers) to find that special story that you then pitch to media to gain that incredible coverage. You will write press releases, monitor content, network with journalists, host events, arrange press trips, join brainstorms, and meet deadlines – all so those monthly / yearly reports are bursting with successes.

What to expect each day…
No two days are the same in PR. Most days will start at 9 am, and finish around 5.30 pm, but there will be times when you will need to attend a networking session in the evening, meet a group of journalists at 7 am in the morning, or run an event at the weekend (obviously TOIL will be given). Heaven Publicity offers a hybrid working structure that offers a mix of working from home with days at the office in Putney (or in Kingston-upon-Thames where many of the team are based).

Key skills that you will need

  • Awareness of the travel and leisure sector
  • Experience of working at a travel PR company, or similar
  • Drive to be involved in some incredible campaigns
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Able to juggle numerous requests and prioritise
  • Passion for travel and finding those stand-out stories
  • Attention to detail, and strong proof reading skills
  • Confidence to get stuck in and take part in meetings / brainstorms
  • Ability to be flexible and self sufficient
  • Top skills in IT and social media
  • Work well in a team

Why work for Heaven Publicity?

  • Opportunity to run press trips (and travel)
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • 28 days holiday + birthday off work
  • Additional “sunny afternoons/days” off
  • Pension scheme
  • Commission pay for bringing new clients to the business
  • Professional development opportunities
