VIP SKI is set to open three penthouse apartments in Avoriaz this coming winter and two stunning chalets in Meribel.
Avoriaz
VIP SKI has bought the top floor of the best located building in Avoriaz. Andy Sturt, owner at VIP SKI said; “Ten years of searching for the perfect location has finally been a success”.
Converting a selection of hand-picked 1970’s apartments into three penthouse suites, VIP SKI promises guests spectacular aerial and panoramic views over Avoriaz. Three penthouse suites in the very centre of Avoriaz, right next to the piste and overlooking the ski school meeting point, Tourist Office, Aquariaz indoor pool complex, drag lifts and ice rink. These luxury penthouse apartments are perfect for families looking to stay close to other fun activities for their children to enjoy.
No. 1 Penthouse Suite Offering three en suite bedrooms, one with an extra bed in a quirky private alcove, this penthouse suite is an ideal space for 6-7 guests. This modern, chic apartment with surround sound TV, DVD, WiFi and flat screen TVs in all bedrooms is perfect for those looking for a refreshing change from traditional wooden chalets. No. 2 Penthouse Suite With just two en suite bedrooms, No.2 Penthouse Suite is an inviting, family hideout and a perfect retreat after a busy day on the slopes for four. Couples or small groups can enjoy the privacy that this apartment offers whilst making the most of its proximity to Avoriaz’s centre. The suite is entirely independent with open plan living/dining area and contemporary fireplace, surround sound TV, DVD, WiFi, flat screen TV’s in the bedrooms and a dedicated chalet host. No. 3 Penthouse Suite This apartment is the largest and most adaptable of the three units on the 9th floor. It offers three en suite bedrooms, two of which have additional bunk beds. This gives flexible and spacious accommodation for groups and families of 6 to 10. Prices start from £909 per person.
If booked early, large parties can book out the whole of the 9th floor to accommodate up to 23 guests for special occasions. All guests would benefit from the proximity to the slopes, the ski school meeting point, Tourist Office, Aquariaz indoor pool complex, drag lifts and ice rink in addition to the dedicated chalet hosts. All three penthouses have the style and facilities of luxury modern apartments with the space of large chalets.
Meribel
Very few chalets are located on the piste in Meribel, however, situated only a six minute stroll from the centre of Meribel and two minutes away from the pistes, via VIP SKI’s Merishuttle chauffeur service, both Chalet Zebra and Little Zebra are easily accessible.
Chalet Zebra is another masterpiece to add to VIP SKI’s eclectic collection of desirable chalets at the very heart of the Three Valleys. Just a few minutes stroll from the centre of town, this stunning Meribel chalet offers style, comfort and a great deal of space.
An impressive suspended central fireplace, surrounded by large, comfortable sofas, dominates the living area. Guests can admire the view from the warmth of the living area though the floor to ceiling glass windows. The accommodation is generously spread over three floors with abundant wrap around terraces. The bathrooms have huge walk-in showers and the bedrooms boast flat screen TVs. Guests can also make use of the small TV lounge, massive outdoor sauna and sunken hot tub.
Chalet Zebra provides comfortable accommodation for twelve in six en suite bedrooms. Little Zebra can be found across the terrace and up a flight of stone steps from Chalet Zebra. Two bedroom chalets are not easy to find, particularly in the popular resort of Meribel. VIP SKI’s chalets are therefore even more delighted to introduce Little Zebra to their collection. Couples, families of four or small groups of friends will enjoy this spacious chalet that promises privacy and intimacy.
Little Zebra is a freestanding, two bedroom chalet over two floors. The open plan living/dining space is generous for four guests whilst the patio doors open out onto a private terrace with hot tub. Guests can admire impressive views whilst relaxing in the warmth of the hot tub. Upstairs, both double en suite bedroom and twin bedroom have a huge shared balcony and a separate shower room. VIP SKI has stylishly decorated this recently renovated chalet so that it is now smart and contemporary, yet comforting and welcoming to guests who have spent a long day on the slopes. Prices start from £1,189 per person.
Together, the two chalets are a perfect choice for a larger group of 16. Should the chalets be booked by separate groups, guests of both chalets will enjoy their own privacy and, of course, their own chalet service. Using VIP Chalet’s Merishuttle transfer service will maximise guests’ skiing time and preserve their legs for the slopes. The driver will come to the chalet every morning at a pre-set time and then drive guests the few minutes and few hundred yards to the main Chaudannes lift station. Guests can then call to be collected from the piste and returned to their chalet as late as 7pm.

Val d’Isere
VIP SKI’s CLUB Bellevarde, which sleeps twenty –four, is an imposing stone and timber lodge situated on the edge of the Santons piste. New for this winter is top to bottom refurbishment of all the club including bedrooms as well as a new pool complex with pool, sauna, hammam, changing rooms, massage rooms as well as a new conference room. CLUB Chalets are reserved by the room and gives the opportunity to meet with like-minded skiers and families in the surroundings of a larger chalet environment. There are plump sofas to cuddle up in whilst warming your toes in front of the open fire, a cosy bar with unlimited draft beer and wine and high tec entertainment. The Chalet has CLUB chefs who offer a more flexible menu plan, and a choice of dishes, twin or double rooms to choose from and twin hot tubs on the sprawling terrace are the perfect place to relax and enjoy the break-taking view. Laurent Perrier
VIP SKI’s Executive Chef is passionate about food and hugely sensitive to the appetite of a hungry skier whilst considering a balanced diet. The new and refined 2015/16 menus are heavy enough to reward mountain exertion yet light and simple enough to leave you grinning not groaning.

New for this winter, Laurent-Perrier is being introduced as the house champagne included in the holiday on two evenings of the week with canapés. In 1881, when Cellar Master Eugène Laurent inherited the Alphonse PierlotChampagne House, he provided it with the essential foundations required to produce great champagnes, namely the houses and land to create a fully-fledged estate.
The Domaine Laurent-Perrier (the Estate) is anchored in Tours-sur-Marne. This picturesque village is ideally situated at the crossroads of the three main wine growing areas of the Marne département: the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Blancs.
