VIP SKI sponsors a rising star of British ski racing
VIP SKI is delighted to announce that they will be supporting British Skiing and especially their chosen sponsored skier, Max Laughland, who will wear the VIP SKI logo as he races the European circuit this winter.
Max won the Under 18 GB Downhill cup in Tignes earlier this year, a cup that also bears Martin Bell’s name, having won the same discipline at the very start of his career in 1980.
As one of the Ambition Alpine Ski Racing Academy stable of GB skiers, this season is all about FIS points in international races throughout Europe, and VIP SKI is thrilled and honoured to support him through this.
Max has been in the England Alpine Team since the age of 12 and have had selection into the British Team for U14 & U16 and currently the Senior Team after meeting the criteria in the first year in FIS.
Max has completed a summer training season in Zermatt, Saas-Fee and Landgraaf, and now moves to pre-season training on the snow in Scandinavia.
VIP SKI is delighted to be joining Savills, Atomic and Shred as Max’s 2023 sponsors and will be closely following Max as the racing season progresses.
Qualifying for the 2023 World Junior Championships is Max’s immediate challenge, after which sights will refocus on the Europa Cup Circuit, the World Cup Circuit and ultimately the Olympics in Cortina, Italy 2026.

Bid for a seven-night stay in Bear Lodge
VIP SKI is donating two holidays, up for auction, both for two people to its flagship property Bear Lodge to help raise much needed funds for Max’s journey. The auction takes place from 26 November to end of play on 10 December 2022 with holidays to be taken in either week commencing 08 January 2023 or 05 Feb 2023. The value of the stay is £2400-£3300, depending on travel date choice but there is no reserve and the seven-night stay will be sold to the highest bidder**.
