Ski France, the leading accommodation provider in the French Alps, is thrilled to announce the opening of its latest development in Les Arcs – Peisey Vallandry. This new array of chalets marks an exciting expansion for the company, establishing a new base in one of the most coveted locations in the French Alps.
Situated between Les Arcs and La Plagne, in the heart of the world-renowned Paradiski area, this location offers unparalleled access to one of the world’s largest ski domains.
This boutique addition is set to open its doors on December 14, 2024, just in time for the upcoming winter season.
The new residence, four-star Chalet des Amis, features five spacious, self-catered chalet-apartments, perfect for groups of 10 to 20 people. Each self-catered chalet-apartment offers premium amenities including a private terrace, en-suite bathrooms, and a kitchen equipped with high-end appliances, including two types of coffee machines, a juicer, and full-sized oven and freezer. The inclusion of towels and bedlinen, washing machines and dryers provides all the comforts of home for a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Embracing its heritage as a former mountain guide lodge, Chalet Les Amis has been meticulously renovated to offer modern luxury while maintaining its authentic alpine charm. The wellness area, featuring a jacuzzi and sauna with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, provides the perfect retreat after a day on the slopes.
The chalet-apartments at Les Amis cater to a variety of group sizes and preferences. From Vanoise and Monchavin with intimate three-bedroom duplexes perfect for families or small groups, to spacious four-bedroom apartments, Nancroix and Grand Renard, ideal for larger parties, and Aiguille Rouge an impressive six-bedroom triplex for those seeking the ultimate in space and comfort. Each apartment is thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels like a true home away from home in the mountains. Prices start from £160.90 per person (£1,623 total) based on a week’s stay from 14th December (flights, transfers, ski hire, lift passes and other meals are extra).
Complementing Chalet Les Amis is the independent Chalet Ponturin, a spacious two-level self-catered chalet designed for larger groups. This chalet neighbours the residence and spa yet features its own private terrace and offers guests access to the neighbouring spa facilities. Notably, Chalet Ponturin is wheelchair accessible, underlining Ski France’s commitment to inclusive hospitality.
The development’s prime location, just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Chambéry, offers convenient access to the renowned Les Arcs ski area. Guests benefit from a range of services designed to enhance their stay, including complimentary shuttle service to nearby lifts and village centre up until 8pm; exclusive discounts on ski equipment at the local Sport2000 shop; daily bread and pastry delivery service; and an option for pre-stocked groceries upon arrival.
