Madame Vacances enjoys 25th birthday boost with appointment of Heaven Publicity

Madame Vacances has appointed Heaven Publicity as the first PR agency to promote the French holiday rental brand across the UK and Ireland.
As the accommodation expert marks its 25th anniversary with a brand refresh, the specialist PR and communications agency has been brought in to help drive awareness of Madame Vacances’ differing holiday styles amongst both consumer and trade audiences.
Speaking of the appointment Joanna Laforge, Group Commercial Director for Madame Vacances, said: “Whilst Madame Vacances has extremely loyal customers, we felt our silver anniversary was the perfect opportunity to get our name out beyond word of mouth. Our team is extremely passionate about the enormous range of holidays people can enjoy throughout France and this first-hand knowledge means we can help steer customers to the region and property that will be ideal for their needs.
“With Heaven Publicity on board we’re looking forward to helping even more couples, families and groups of friends enhance their experience of holidaying year-round in France and introducing them to what we believe are some of the country’s best-kept secrets.”
Madame Vacances prides itself on offering a wide range of accommodation options for all budgets, from great value self-catering apartments to premium chalets and aspirational villas with private pools offering 24hr service.
What’s more, unlike other French operators, it allows customers to choose how long they want to stay in a destination and when they want to arrive, something that they believe will particularly appeal to Alpine skiers keen to avoid the traffic jams and price hikes associated with Saturday to Saturday breaks.
Some of the key developments that Heaven will therefore be promoting in 2016 include:
NEW FOR 2016

New additions:
– Luxury Meribel Mountain Retreat added to portfolio: With spectacular views across the Bozel valley and high-spec facilities throughout, this fantastic new addition to Madame Vacances’ chalet collection is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for the ultimate snow escape. Le Chalet au Bout du Village (the ‘last chalet of the village’) is set in the peaceful hamlet of Le Villard, just a few minutes’ drive from the Olympe Express lift to Meribel. The fully-catered and luxuriously furnished retreat can accommodate up to 20 people across its two chalets, with a dedicated butler, driver and maid-service ensuring guests needn’t lift a finger until they reach the slopes.
– Madame Vacances introduces Airport Transfers: Due to the demand from customers and the success of its trial last year, Madame Vacances has introduced MV Transport (mvtransport.fr/en/) this year. The new service offers customers airport shared and private transfers between Geneva, Lyon, and all other airports, and many of its most popular ski resorts from just £40pp return.
Renovated properties:
– Superior bathrooms for Hotel le Mottaret: Madame Vacances has continued to upgrade its flagship hotel on the slopes of Méribel-Mottaret. The bathrooms in its superior rooms have been refurbished to make them more spacious and introduce rain-style showers with massage jets, ensuring guests are fully reinvigorated and fit to head downstairs to enjoy the resort’s most stylish après-ski entertainment – the lively ski-in, ski-out Café del Mott bar and restaurant.
– Hotel Courchevel Olympic gets a makeover: The friendly 28-room property’s second floor rooms offer an even more contemporary experience, thanks to its recent renovation and the introduction of Nespresso machines plus a bathroom upgrade. Guests can now soothe tired limbs under their luxurious rain-style shower which come complete with ‘multi-coloured’ temperature-controlled LED lights.
