Don’t miss out on the new spa facilities in Avoriaz, France with VIP SKI

In response to guest feedback, VIP SKI is delighted to announce that five of its luxury chalets in the French ski resort of Avoriaz have just been upgraded and now showcase brand new spa facilities such as indoor pools, sauna/hammams, and indoor or outdoor hot tubs.

Ready for the 2023/24 ski season, guests can now enjoy various water-based therapies at the chalets, that have proven health benefits, especially after strenuous exercise such as skiing. For example, the soothing effect of hydrotherapy jets helps relieve physical and mental stress by supporting the body and relieving weight off the joints and can lower blood pressure and help metabolism. Research also suggests that relaxation after a soak in a hot tub can promote deeper and more restful sleep.

As the highest resort within Les Portes du Soleil ski region in the French Alps, Avoriaz remains a snow-safe destination throughout December to April. It’s home to 650 km of beautiful pistes, with the bonus of guests being able to ski directly into the snowy pedestrianised street.

Two of the upgraded chalets, Kakisa (featuring a new indoor pool and sauna / hammam) and Kobuk   (with a new sauna / hammam) are located on the piste, offering stunning views across Les Portes du Soleil; and the other three, Ipaka  (new indoor pool, and sauna/hammam), Kipnuk (new indoor hot tub), and Sakami (new outdoor hot tub) are situated in the village centre, where there are many sunny terraces to sit back and enjoy the lively atmosphere and watch the horse drawn sleighs go past.

Alongside the new spa facilities, all VIP SKI luxury chalets offer cosy log fires and boot rooms (with boot warmers). All chalet holidays are fully catered offering chalet host services, welcome champagne and canapes, complimentary toiletries, and daily cleaning.

Prior to all the new spa facilities being added to the properties, Chalet Ipaka , Chalet Kipnuk and Chalet Sakami have been shortlisted for the finals of France’s Best Ski Chalet 2023 for the World Ski Awards 2023. The winners will be announced in November and this is the only global initiative programme to recognise, reward and celebrate excellence in ski tourism.

Bookings are now open for the 2023/4 winter season, with the season starting on 15 December 2023.

A week’s stay at Chalet Kakisa, arriving 14 January 2024, is priced from £1,229 pp (including saver week £100 discount for early booking) based on two sharing.
