The company was originally founded in the 1950s by father (W. F. Swan) and son (R. K. Swan) team, but its strong values including pioneering itineraries, personal wellbeing and unrivalled service remain true to this day. The company is committed to environmentally responsible travel and tourism; the ships have been designed and built in accordance with the latest sustainable practices, extending to the design, fuel, engine and on-board products including no single-use plastic and paperless communications.
