What’s new for Pierre & Vacances this winter?
Andorra: Take a look at Andorra, which offers a high quality ski experience with an affordable price tag. This winter, Pierre & Vacances has introduced the 3* Hotel Austria into its portfolio, which is in the heart of the Pyrenees, just one kilometre from the Grandvalira ski area, accessed by minibus with 210 km of slopes and three snowparks. The hotel has recently been renovated, offering 62 bedrooms that are functional and comfortable, sleeping from two to four people. Prices at February half term (11-18 February 2023) are from £1,695 total, for a family of four on half-board (buffet) basis. New this winter, Grandvalira is now running the ski resorts of Arinsal and Pal, which means new access for guests going to Andorra. The Grandvalira lift pass now covers all resorts in Andorra offering a total of 303 km of pistes to explore. In Andorra, children age five years and under do not pay for a lift pass.
Flaine: The five-star premium Les Terrasses d’Eos is perched at an altitude of 1,700 metres in the resort of Flaine. The premium all bells and whistles accommodation has been completely renovated with new furniture, lighting, paintings, and floors. Les Terrasses d’Eos features 108 light and spacious apartments with retro-style furniture sleeping four to eight people. All the accommodation has a balcony or terrace that reveals a wonderful view of the Grand Massif, and some have fireplaces too. Erected at the foot of the slopes, it is ski-in, ski-out so it’s easy to start and finish the day on the slopes. Traffic delays, sky-high flight costs and fully booked ferries or trains could soon be a thing of the past for UK families, as Pierre & Vacances introduces a new range of Sunday-to-Sunday options for the upcoming ski season. Available in 20 residences located in the heart of the most beautiful resorts of the Alps and the Pyrenees: La Plagne, Avoriaz, Méribel, Courchevel, Tignes and Andorra.
Go There: Located in the heart of Plagne Soleil, the ski-in, ski-out 3* Residence Le Mont Soleil offers direct access to the huge Paradiski ski area. Enjoy the tranquillity of Plagne Soleil, perched at an altitude of 2,050 m. The residence comprises two large, comfortable chalets with timber façades, and south-facing terraces with panoramic views. Seven nights’ self-catering at 3* Residence Le Mont Soleil, from 15 January 2023, costs from £634 per apartment (was £792 per apartment – saving 20%) for a studio apartment with a balcony, sleeping up to four people.
