Verbier is kicking off its ski season this Friday with some outstanding beginning-of-season packages

Winter has arrived at the resort of Verbier. More than 40cm of fresh snow has fallen on the summit of Les Attelas, allowing Téléverbier to open its ski area from this Friday, 10 November.

On top of the recent snowfall, the cold temperatures of the past few days provided the perfect conditions to create snow with Verbier’s artificial snowmaking system. The resort is now in a position to have at least the Lac des Vaux piste open in excellent condition from Friday. Other pistes will follow shortly afterwards, subject to the coming snowfall. Verbier’s teams are working flat out to make it happen.

Please note that the ski area will be open only at weekends during the month of November.

The cash desks at Médran (Verbier) and Le Châble will be open between 8:30am and 4:30pm every day from Friday. All information regarding opening hours and prices will be communicated in real time on the www.verbier4vallees.com website and on Verbier’s social media platforms.

And that’s not all: to make the beginning and end of the ski season even more exciting, tourism operators at Verbier are collaborating to offer some attractive and exclusive packages.

The ‘Be the first on the slopes’ package will be available between 2 and 23 December, and includes 1 overnight hotel stay with breakfast and a day’s skiing. Skiers who take advantage of this offer will also enjoy the exclusive privilege of being able to hit the slopes 30 minutes before the ski area officially opens.

Approximately ten hotels from the resort and the surrounding region will be offering these promotions. The hotels span the full range of classifications and can be found at www.verbier4vallees.com. The starting price for these packages is based on the classification of the hotel and varies between CHF 100 and CHF 270 per package.
