The spectacular Silvretta Therme will open in Ischgl in the Austrian Alps in December 2022
Silvrettaseilbahn AG has announced that the landmark Silvretta Therme will open in Ischgl in Austria’s Paznaun Valley in December next year ahead of the 2022/2023 winter sports season. Construction on the Thermal Baths and leisure complex, which will replace the existing indoor and outdoor pools in Ischgl, began in September 2019, with works now well underway. In addition to more that 1,000 square metres of water, Silvretta Therme will contain an ultra-modern fitness centre, an ice-rink and a superb event space for up to 600 people. There will also be a bathing hall with separate swimming areas, brine pools and a grotto, as well as cold water areas and a stylish sauna area.
Built using state-of-the art sustainable materials and pioneering construction methods, the building is set over five floors and is literally being built into the mountain. When complete, the new thermal baths will offer panoramic views of the surrounding area, with both families and those looking for peace and quiet encouraged to visit.
