Team Heaven

Lynsey Devon, Founder & Chief Executive

Lynsey

With 25 years’ experience representing tourism and lifestyle businesses around the world, Lynsey is one of the UK’s best known and most respected names in travel PR.  Having spent two decades establishing Hotelplan as a leader in the luxury ski, city breaks and villa fields, she set up Heaven Publicity in 2012 after overseeing PR for TUI Travel PLC’s Specialist Activity Sector and its acclaimed stable of 104 companies.

There are few travel-related areas that haven’t benefitted from Lynsey’s invaluable expertise already. What’s more, she’s as comfortable promoting charity events and retail brands as she is pushing hospitality and tourism-related companies – a skill that ensures the Heaven team is equally confident securing print, digital and broadcast coverage outside the traditional travel pages as well as within them. Plus, she is consistently asked to share her vast knowledge with others, and is a regular on the judging panel at the World Snow Awards, presented by the – now discontinued – Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Magazine; further proving her talents and expertise as ‘Snow Queen’.

With her exuberant personality, unrivalled black book of media, blogger and celebrity influencers and passion for new experiences, Lynsey’s hands-on approach could be exactly what you need to inject energy into your business.

Catherine Crone, Non Executive Director

Cath Crone

With more than 30 years’ experience in adventure travel, passionate Francophile Catherine is a fun-loving, sun-seeking shopaholic whose colourful vices include red wine, blue cheese and anything pink and/or sparkly!

Catherine’s career was marked from an early age when she told her primary school teacher that she intended to “write travel brochures” when she grew up. Fast forward through a Modern Languages degree, a season as a Campsite Courier (in the days when people actually wanted tents), various Operations and Marketing roles, multi take-overs and restructures, and Catherine took over as Managing Director of specialist cycling & walking tour operator, Headwater.

A natural leader, with infectious energy, Catherine is now devoting her time to doing what she enjoys best – promoting her love of the “real” France and the Med (food and wine, the great outdoors, art history, fashion and design) to anyone who will listen.

Emma Berg, Account Manager

Emma Berg

Since joining Heaven Publicity in early 2022, Emma has developed a keen understanding of the travel landscape. Her deep-seated passion for travel and languages, enriched by her experiences living and working in Brazil, Spain and France, enables Emma to collaborate closely with clients to develop impactful strategies tailored to their unique needs. Over the past years, Emma has markedly broadened her expertise by engaging with a diverse array of clients, spanning from ski resorts in France to glamping ventures in Japan, and bespoke luxury holidays worldwide. Emma’s foray into travel PR has not only enriched her skill set but also allowed her to blend linguistic finesse with a strong insight into the ever-evolving travel industry.

Rachel Johnston, Account Executive

Rachel JohnstonWith a vision of pursuing a media-centric career from an early age, Rachel relocated to Leeds to complete a degree in journalism. After graduation, she gained a year’s experience in marketing and another year in PR. When working at her first PR agency, Rachel had the opportunity to experience the mountain lifestyle, travelling to and from the French Alps as a resort representative for groups from around the world.

Working in PR full-time – with occasional trips to different ski resorts – got her thinking about incorporating skiing into her everyday life, leading Rachel to discover a seamless fusion of her passions here at Heaven Publicity.

She’ll be the first (and last) at après, and will never say no to a spicy margarita… or fondue.

Emma Bebb, Marketing and Events

rsz_1emma_website___Having fallen in love with Italy’s cuisine, coffee and snow-perfect mountains during the three years she spent living in Bologna, Emma’s combined her biggest passions since returning to London and introducing a high-octane dimension to the Heaven team.
