Pierre & Vacances, the number one provider of holiday residences, resorts and hotels across France, has revealed a variety of new developments, packages and product enhancements for winter 2015-16.
Experience a new level of Premium Pierre & Vacances
Pierre & Vacances continues to innovate its Premium holiday offering to ensure it meets the expectations of an increasingly sophisticated customer. The Premium brand has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2010 and now makes up over half of the Pierre & Vacances accommodation favoured by the UK market. The brand was introduced to showcase the finest properties in the company’s portfolio with traditionally designed alpine buildings and the added value of spas and personalised services.
New for this winter Pierre & Vacances has launched ‘la Formule Hôtelière’. The set of services will be offered in a selection of Premium residences and introduces a hotel level of care to self catering with beds made daily and on arrival and fresh bed linen and towels every two days.
Those that prefer not to cook and shop every day can also take advantage of Pierre & Vacances catered packages. Holidaymakers can enjoy traditional regional cuisine at great prices with different dining packages available in selected resorts.* Guests can order a daily delivery of fresh bread and cakes at reception or opt for a full breakfast package including all the essentials: tea, coffee, fruit juice, butter, jam, honey, pastries, bread and more booked in advance. New for 2015-16 the quality breakfast hamper service will be provided by Fauchon (France’s equivalent to Fortnum & Mason) at all Premium destinations apart from Arc 1950. Premium breakfast package options are available from €154 per week for a family of 4 (which works out at €5,50 per person per day). This includes a basket of provisions for the whole week and fresh bread and pastries delivered daily. For other catering options guests can prebook a ‘meal card’ which costs from €30.60 per adult per day and includes a 3-course evening meal in a local restaurant or a half board package option which includes a buffet breakfast and 3-course evening meal everyday from €45.90 per person per day. Catered package options must be booked in advance.

in line with Pierre & Vacances’s promise Free wifi is now available in all Pierre & Vacances residences for winter 2015-16 so guests can stay connected abroad for no extra charge.
NEW packages to suit couples, families and groups
This winter season Pierre & Vacances has created new package options to suit couples, family and groups.
New relaxing wellness package for a gentler holiday
Those looking to be pampered on holiday can take advantage of a new relaxing wellness package available in the 13 Pierre & Vacances Premium residences that feature a Deep Spa Nature.®
The new relaxing wellness package add-on costs 164€ per person per stay and includes a Signature Immersion massage (50 minutes), a Marine Exfoliating treatment (25 minutes) and a radiance facial treatment (25 minutes) all provided by professionals. Guests also have access to the wellness area with indoor or outdoor pool and the relaxation area with sauna and steam room.
New FOLIE DOUCE package for groups
Pierre & Vacances has partnered up with La Folie Douce, the brand that mixes madness, great mountain flavours and fun times, to bring a party package to the slopes. Available in four Pierre & Vacances destinations (Val Thorens, Val d’Isere, Alpe d’Huez and Meribel) the ‘Folie Douce’ package add-on costs 70€ per person and includes Folie Douce goodie bag and accessories, two excellent meals and some drinks at La Folie Douce bar. It’s the ideal hang out for groups of friends that want to soak up the après-ski vibe and dance the afternoon away with live DJs and cabaret.
New family package and kids ski programme
Pierre & Vacances take the hassle out of family holidays with new childcare package options. A new ‘liberty pack’ offers 5* childcare services in selected Premium resorts and residences (Flaine, Avoriaz and Arc 1950). Children aged 2-13 are looked after by a team of professionals who will introduce them to a range of indoor (creative arts, music workshops) and outdoor (snowshoe walks, Olympics, igloo building) activities. Packages cost from 80€ for the week and include 6 x 3 hour childcare sessions.
Packages that include ski instruction are also available for children aged 5 -11 in a selection of resorts. Kids will not only develop their technique and meet new friends but they can also enjoy a range of other activities in the snow and supervised lunches. Packages cost from 284€ and include ski school, lunch and a selection of activities.
And the family fun doesn’t stop at the slopes. On top of the new package options Pierre & Vacances has equipped residences with computer games, a selection of books and kid-sized furniture. Families can borrow board games and Playstation video games at their leisure throughout the week.
Andorra development continues
Pierre & Vacances has expanded further into Andorra and introduced two new partner residences in the village of Soldeu which are both connected by cable car to the Grandvalira ski area. The new Fully-equipped 3* residences: Andorra Bordes d’Envalira and Andorra Peretol are at 1800m and 2.5km from the centre of Soldeu. The comfortable and spacious apartments range from 2 person studios to 5 room suites for 8 people and are available from £266 for a week based on a 1 bedroom apartment sleeping up to 4 people.
Two new snowy festivals take the stage in Avoriaz
This season Avoriaz will welcome two new music festivals to the scene. From December 13-19th 2015 Snowbombing presents the new ‘Transition’ festival and a first class dance line-up including Dizzie Rascal, Wilkinson, B-Traits and Bondax. The event will also host Europe’s highest pool party at ‘Aquariaz’ – Pierre & Vacances high-altitude waterpark. Snow enthusiasts can enjoy the warmth of the tropics and some serious tunes in this unique setting at 1,800 metres.
Snowboxx Festival will also find a new home in the heart of the Port du Soleil ski region. From 12th-19th March 2016 the festival is creating something never seen before at a winter festival by building its own ‘Snowboxx Village’ in the heart of Avoriaz town. The village will host a multitude of events, main stage performances, off-the-wall festival features & local food and drink stalls. Snowboxx will also combine with local festival ‘Rock the Pistes’; a festival dedicated to showcasing live music on big stages in the most unlikely locations in the heart of the slopes.

Take advantage of early-season booking offers
NEW ski pack offers: Book in advance and save up to 20% on lift passes and up to 25% when booking lift pass and equipment rental
By purchasing lift passes in advance with Pierre & Vacances accommodation, guests can enjoy a minimum 5% discount on a week’s lift pass and up to 20% if booked before November 3, 2015 (inclusive). The 5% reduction applies during the whole winter season in Avoriaz, La Plagne and Isola 2000 and in all areas** if booked outside French school holidays. There’s now absolutely no need to wait in line after a long journey: the ski passes that guests book online will be available in the residence reception when they arrive. Those booking lift passes and equipment rental can save up to 25%.
