Pierre & Vacances Prepares for Summer 2023 with the Launch of several New Properties

Following a few incredibly difficult years, travel is certainly back and proving increasingly popular. As we begin to plan our next adventures, it’s clear that booking ahead of time is key to get the best deals, so when it’s wet, cold and a little miserable outside, what better time to organise a summer holiday?

Situated on the French Mediterranean coast, an hour north of the Spanish border, Residence Les Bulles de Mer is the latest property to open under the Pierre & Vacances brand on 28 April 2023. Set in the pretty Mediterranean village of Saint-Cyprien, seven miles from Perpignan, the waterfront residence offers bright, air-conditioned apartments with sun-drenched terraces. The inhouse restaurant offers local and organic products. Relaxation activities, such as yoga and Pilates, are on offer daily as well as a spa for those in need of pampering, and for the restless traveller, there’s a nine and 18-hole golf course plus stand-up paddle boarding from the beach. The residence also has an outdoor pool, open from May to September, and a pool bar, perfect for having a refreshing drink and admiring the panoramic sea views.

Also ready to open in Saint-Cyprien is the premium residence Horizon Golf. The four-star residence consists of 43 modern one-and-two-bedroom apartments, each featuring full kitchen facilities and a balcony or terrace. The property, which is in walking distance of the beach, benefits from a heated outdoor pool, sauna, a cardio training space, onsite supermarket, bar, and restaurant serving an array of local and international cuisine. Opening in April, the residence is just a stone’s throw from the par-73 international 18 hole golf course. Designed by duo Tomlinson and Wright, and officially inaugurated in 1976, the course is regarded as one for the most formidable in southern France and has played host to several prestigious tournaments, including pre-qualifying events for the European Tour.

This June will see the opening of the newly constructed, Résidence Cap Cassis Calanques,  located in a Mediterranean fishing port in the South of France too. The town of Cassis, close to the bustling metropolis of Marseille, is known for its pebble beaches and its ‘Calanques’ (narrow inlets framed by steep, limestone cliffs) that are fun for keen hikers to explore. The Calanques National Park is home to 140 protectected animal and plant species and is a haven for Scuba lovers and rock climbers. Set to open 17 June 2023, the residence has 71 apartments, ranging from studios sleeping two people to larger apartments sleeping up to six. The apartments are fitted with balconies or terraces to admire the panoramic views, and guests can take advantage of the outdoor pool in the hot summer months.
