Ischgl’s Spring-Skiing event will feature a specially produced song by Marvin Aloys with UK’s Sydney Jo Jackson on vocals
Marvin Aloys has specially produced a song for the Ischgl spring-skiing event, “Spring Blanc”, launching at 23.00 on 23 Thursday February 2023. London based Sydney Jo Jackson, better known for Time Rewind, Gangsters Gamblers Geezers (2016) and Crazy Life, leads vocals on the track.
The Ischgl artist produces for Ischgl: Marvin Aloys, the grandson of tourism pioneer, Günther Aloys (hotelier and tourism visionary) lives in Munich and plays in renowned clubs between Ibiza, Berlin and Manchester. Ischgl’s mountain scenery always draws him back home, and he is particularly pleased to be able to dedicate a song to it now. He says: “The mixture of nature and international music in Ischgl are a special combination and create the perfect holiday feeling. That’s exactly what we want to convey with our song ‘Higher'”.
Sydney Jo Jackson is a British singer/songwriter and classifies her music under “funk and dance”. She also acts and models. Marvin Aloys brought the British artist to Ischgl to film the song “Higher”. For Sydney Jo Jackson, the song “Higher” embodies the motivation and drive to achieve great things. It is also about supporting each other and coming together to experience special moments. She says: “Now is the time for everyone on the mountain to come together, support each other and have a great time together”.
As early as last year, the Paznaun – Ischgl Tourist Association started thinking about the production of a song that could be the musical accompaniment to “Spring Blanc”. Less than a year later, the idea was successfully implemented.
The song, “Higher” will be available on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer from 23.00 (23 February 2023). It can also be enjoyed when watching the music video shot in Ischgl, which is available at https://youtu.be/2MX4MP6QC80.
