Portes du Soleil are thrilled to announce that mountain bike trials legend Danny MacAskill will be joining us to celebrate the 20th anniversary of PassPortes du Soleil MTB 2024. His presence adds an exceptional dimension to the event, promising unforgettable moments and an electric atmosphere.
Pass’Portes du Soleil MTB
Join one of the most sought-after mountain bike events in the Alps, Pass’Portes du Soleil MTB, from 28-30 June 2024. For its 20th edition, this three-day event promises exhilarating downhill rides and challenging uphill climbs across nine different resorts in France and Switzerland. Plus, explore the latest biking products at the MTB show in Morzine. Kids can join Pass’Portes Kids in Châtel, Les Gets and Morzine, supervised by professional mountain bike instructors from 29-30 June 2024.
This event is not just for mountain bikers however, non-mountain bikers can enjoy a hike to discover the Franco-Swiss territory of the Portes du Soleil with Pedestrian Pass’Portes in Châtel, Les Gets, Les Lindarets-Montriond, for just £14.5 / €17. Pass’Portes adults tickets are £58 / €68 and children’s £25 / €30

Danny MacAskill, renowned for his breathtaking videos and incredible performances, will perform mountain bike trial demonstrations at PassPortes. This is a unique opportunity to witness his extraordinary skills and impressive stunts up close. His shows, celebrated for their creativity, daring, and technicality, captivate audiences of all ages.
Practical information
The Drop and Roll Tour shows will take place on Friday 28 June and Saturday 29 June at 2 pm and 7 pm, enabling as many people as possible to attend the performances. The public will have the privilege of taking part in several signing sessions at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm, 30 minutes after the Drop and Roll Tour shows. Danny MacAskill, from Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, has become an icon in trials mountain biking with viral videos that rack up millions of views. His daring acrobatics and unique style have redefined the sport’s limits and inspired a new generation of mountain bikers.
Duncan Shaw, with a background in competitive trials, has focused on street trials for over ten years. Known for his technical precision and impressive moves, he is one of the world’s top riders.
