Take an electric mountain bike through the Megève mountains
Throughout the summer Megève reveals a unique charm, discover the panoramic view of the Mont-Blanc massif surrounded by lush flora and crystal clear waters. Go on an overnight electric mountain biking adventure through the mountains. Leave from Megève for this two-day, one-night adventure, after an afternoon of riding electric mountain bikes through the forests and paths of Megève, participants will start ascending the ridges to reach the summit of Tête de Torraz where Foodtruck 1930 will be waiting. A true paradise, overlooking the mountains with a 360-degree view. At the top set up a bivouac which will be home for the evening, here local chef Yan will provide bikers with a local craft beer or one of his delicious potato fritters. Then return to the tent to spend the night immersed in nature. The following day after breakfasting on local produce under the first rays of sun, begin the return to Megève village centre. Ride High at Verbier’s BikePark
In the summer, Verbier 4Vallées is a paradise for mountain bikers. There are eight downhill tracks (two of which were specially designed for beginners), 23 enduro trails and 500 km of cross-country routes, as well as several e-biking itineraries. Thanks to its renowned bike park, Verbier is regarded as one of the mountain bike capitals of Switzerland – and one of the best in Europe. Opening on June 8 2024, the Verbier BikePark now offers nine different trails with unique landscapes, catering to various skill levels, from beginner to competition. These trails span between Les Fontanets (2,475 m), Verbier (1,535 m), and the side of La Tzoumaz. An adult day pass for bikers costs 45 CHF.

Watch the Kufsteinerland Cycle Marathon in Austrian Tyrol this August
With its 34 regional associations, Tirol is one of the leading holiday destinations in the Alps. Tirolean tourism is characterised by almost 200 years of history and various pioneering achievements. The Kufsteinerland Cycle Marathon, will be held for the eighth time on 25 August 2025. To cater for all levels there are three disciplines to choose from: the Cycle Marathon route (120 kilometres, 1,800 metres elevation) the slightly shorter Lakes Circuit (95 kilometres, 1,160 metres elevation) and the more leisurely Panorama Tour through the Inn Valley (48 kilometres, 400 metres elevation). Ultimate MTB Experience: Pass’Portes du Soleil in Les Gets, Portes du Soleil
The Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski and MTB areas in the world, comprising 12 Alpine resorts (eight French and four Swiss). Join one of the most sought-after mountain bike events in the Alps, Pass’Portes du Soleil MTB, from 28-30 June 2024. For its 20th edition, this three-day event promises exhilarating downhill rides and challenging uphill climbs across nine different resorts in France and Switzerland.
