Summer France launches Les Balcons du Viso in the heart of the Southern Alps
Summer France is delighted to announce the launch of its newest residence, Les Balcons du Viso, an apartment complex located in the Alpine village of Abriès, in the heart of the Queyras National Park. Sheltered by surrounding peaks, Queyras enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year, making it one of the driest and sunniest spots in the Alps.
This welcoming new accommodation offers a peaceful retreat for walkers, cyclists, families, and outdoor lovers. Les Balcons du Viso offers direct access to some of the most scenic walking and cycling routes in the southern Alps, with the Queyras National Park right on the doorstep. With minimal light pollution and high altitude, Queyras is an excellent place for stargazing.
Comfortable stays with spectacular views
The residence offers a flexible range of self-catering apartments, from one-bedroom properties sleeping two to four, to three-bedroom duplexes for up to 10 guests. All apartments come with fully equipped kitchens and private balconies offering views of the Queyras mountains. Guests also have full access to a heated indoor pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, perfect for unwinding after a day on the trails.

With a hiking trail starting just one minute from the door, guests can explore routes like the Bric Bouchet summit, where Ibex sightings are common, or join a local guide to learn about the region’s edible mountain plants.
