Reasons to visit now: What’s new in Morzine?
New for this summer, Nadia Stragliati, who created Altura Yoga, is working with the Morzine Tourist Board to offer holidaymakers a weekend of yoga and Nordic walking from 17 to 18 June 2017. Nadia has been teaching Vinyasa and Yin yoga in Morzine for five years and offers retreats and hikes around the area.

Trail Running: training courses and trail-running sessions are open to the general public and to competitors hoping to improve their performance, over one or several days, organised and coached by the CESNI (National & International Sporting Studies Centre). A centre created in 1992 after the Olympic Games in Albertvile, which has chosen to work with Morzine to support and develop trail-running.

To do the running, but not the mountain climbing, Morzine is offering trail running routes that use the ski lifts to avoid the steep slopes at the start of the route and to skip straight up to the mountain ridges with 360° panoramic views. Bypassing the steep uphill allows access to natural trail-running routes offering the essence of mountain the sport: spectacular landscapes and varied terrain (single tracks and forest trails between woodlands, mountain meadows and the summits).
